My daughter Lauren and her friend were participants in the festival, and my daughter said the best part of being there was the opportunity to listen to her peers play different types of music other than classical. It was great to hear so much jazz.
My daughter felt the judges criticisms were positive and helpful. She also enjoyed it because she got to share the experience with her friend playing a lively duet. Being the first of its kind, this festival was a great experience. Its continued success will grow to be even better after some good feedback and evaluations. We appreciate the vision and all the efforts put in the program from the judges, to all the staff involved and the IT person Richard.
We were also interested to find out about getting a copy of the girls’ duet and especially the video perspective of the overhead view of their hands. It was very cool to watch on the monitor.
